Follow these Seven Easy Steps to contract today:
- Complete a Contract
Application (6455Y) in its entirety.
- If you are contracting your corporation,
include both your personal name and Social Security
Number as well as the corporation's name and Taxpayer ID Number.
- If you have a Broker/Dealer, include their information even if you wish to contract for fixed annuities only.
- If hiring subagents, also
include the completed Transmittal
(6821Y).
- If you are in California, complete the California Credit Authorization (9043Y) form.
- Include proof of Errors and Omissions coverage (declaration page).
- Once you are notified from Midland with your Login and Password, please log into http://mnlife.agentcertification.com to take the certification exam.
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Requirement:
Please complete the required training for Anti-Money Laundering. Visit https://www.mnlife.com/AML to obtain your user id and password. You will need to enter your Midland National assigned agent number and SSN/TIN. You will then be directed to a LIMRA sponsored website to complete the AML training. Midland National will be notified once the training is successfully completed.
- Download and read the procedures outlined in the Compliance Manual (8943Y) and Understanding Your Client's Needs Guide (8942Y). Agents in Texas will need to read the Texas-specific version: Understanding Your Client's Needs Guide (8942Y-42).
- We recommend you have your commissions deposited directly into your bank account. Please send a completed Authorization
Direct Deposit (6772Y) form along with a voided check for us to set this up for you.
- You may fax these required documents to Agent Contracting Services at 877-586-0248.
NOTE: If you are submitting a New Business application, please complete the above requirements prior to meeting with the client. This will ensure your future business will flow more smoothly.
Spring Solicitation Check List
- Check resident/non-resident license status in the state you intend on conducting business
- Are you planning on conducting business in an immediate contract state?
- Be aware of contract status with Midland National before soliciting annuity business
- You must be contracted with the Midland National Annuity Division before you solicit business in:
- Georgia
- Pennsylvania
- Washington
